For Smeaton oil-free compressor, VFD is available for both single stage and double stage machines.  Through efficient frequency inverter, thevolumtric flow of a screw compressor can be adjusted within a widerange. Due to the airend’s compatibility design, the speed regulation is smooth, effectively avoiding the shock impacted on the driving system;  as a result, not only the machine life is extended, but also the overall energy saving reaches 25% and more.
